Glencoe Mansion will be closed Sunday June 18.  We hope you will join us at Wilderness Road Regional Museum where we will be participating in their Juneteenth Celebration.

 The event is 2:00-5:00pm June 18 at Wilderness Road Regional Museum, 5240 Wilderness Road Dublin, VA 24084.

There will be kids activities, African dancers and drummers performing, a drum circle, yard games, Juneteenth-themed storytelling and children’s book giveaways by Pulaski County Library System, and a panel discussion on the history of slavery in Appalachia. There will be two food trucks (Draper's Bakers and Lizard Licks), a Cake Raffle (all home baked!), cornbread tasting, and we'll also be raffling off a variety of other items, including several African sculptures.

It's going to be a fun afternoon, and we're thrilled you'll be there!
