Bondurant Schoolhouse
Available on site is an authentic one-room schoolhouse. Kenneth K. Bondurant and family saved the structure from certain demolition and moved it to the Glencoe Mansion site to provide visitors of all ages the experience of one-room schoolhouse life.
Located adjacent to the Glencoe Mansion entrance.
Mary Draper Ingles Statue
The bronze statue of the frontier heroine Mary Draper Ingles is located at Glencoe Mansion in the Mary Draper Ingles Cultural Heritage Park. Visit and explore the story of this amazing woman and learn about the story of westward migration. Be sure to view the Glencoe exhibit and video that tell the store of Mary’s capture by Native Americans during the French and Indian War and her epic journey back home to the New River Valley.

New River Train Observatory
Glencoe Mansion sits atop the location where the still active railroad bridge crosses the New River. The Train Observatory affords visitors an amazing experience of seeing and feeling the power of the train. The Observatory is the product of the design and construction by students from Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture + Design.

Mackler Historic Tour
The Mackler Historic Tour is a driving tour of historical sites and places of interest in Radford, VA. The Tour and its accompanying website were developed by Dr. Stuart Mackler.
